The bike track, which is now in use, was completed by participants in MPREC’s Work for the Dole activities from the area, in partnership with Dubbo Landscaping.
Aside from their role in the build of the bike track, Dubbo Landscaping also donated four (4) bikes to make sure the track could be put to good use with the best possible equipment, while MPREC purchased six (6) helmets, to make sure the equipment was also the safest possible.
In addition to the BMX track, the gateway into Alice Edwards Village and the entry roundabout have also been improved. Alongside the Dubbo Landscaping team, a number of locals spent the last few weeks beautifying the entrance with sandstone art, sandstone bollards and the planting of new gardens.
