Several members of the Wilcannia River Woodworkers Group are showing off the skills they are learning in furniture making courses.
MPREC’s Work for the Dole Program in Wellington has made teddies and quilts to donate to the Westmead Children’s hospital.
The Dubbo Photonews, as part of their recognition of NAIDOC week in the region, gave MPREC the opportunity to comment on the work they do as one of Australia’s largest Aboriginal governed charitable organisations.

This month Work for the Dole participants in Cobar, along with local employers and TAFE representatives joined MPREC’s Community Development barbecue, to recognise their hard work.
