Have you ever wanted to complete a course, but feel that you don’t have the skills you need to get started? The Skills for Vocational Pathways course will help you by developing the skills you will need for study.
It will give you the opportunity to develop learning strategies at work and how to use workplace digital technology. You will gain confidence in reading, writing and communicating and you’ll have time to brush up on your math’s skills needed for work.
Depending on your interest you will complete four (4) units from Construction, Business, Hospitality, Retail or Community Services. This will give you the opportunity to learn some practical skills and knowledge that you may need in your next course.
You will be required to study 11 units of competency to complete this qualification. There are 7 core units and 4 elective units.
Core Units of Competency

||Use simple strategies for work-related learning
||Identify and use whole numbers and simple fractions, decimals and percentages for work
||Identify, measure and estimate familiar quantities for work
||Participate in simple spoken interactions at work

Four (4) units from the Construction, Agriculture, Horticulture, Business, Hospitality, Retail or Community Services training packages.
